The 36th PSBMB Annual Convention will be held December 3-4, 2009 at Central Mindanao University, Musuan, Bukidnon. Please visit the convention page here for details.

 

The convention also features the 10th RevUP Workshop to be held Dec. 2. A post-convention Bukidnon Agri-ecotour showcasing the sights, sounds and delights of Bukidnon will also happen on Dec. 5.

  • The 36th PSBMB Annual Convention page is up. This year's theme is "Biotechnology and Biodiversity for Food Sustainability." This event will be held December 2-5 at Central Mindanao University. This convention also features the 10th RevUP Workshop on December 2, 2009 and a post-convention Bukidnon Agri-Ecotour on December 5.   • 7th RevUp: CHED Faculty Upgrading Workshop for Chemistry Instructors at institutions offering B.S. Chemistry.  The PSBMB is one of the partners of the Commission on Higher Education, the Philippine Federation of Chemical Societies, and the Institute of Chemistry of the University of the Philippines-Diliman for a faculty upgrading program. Contact the Commission on Higher Education- Technical Panel for Science and Math- Committee for Chemistry for more details about the program.
     

    The PSBMB will be conducting the Biochemistry Modules on 22-26 October 2007.

 

  • The 33rd Annual PSBMB Convention was held on December 7-8, 2006 at the West Visayas State University in Iloilo City, Iloilo, back to back with the 6th RevUp Workshop on December 9, 2006, for high school teachers of the region.

 

  • The 5th RevUp Workshop will be held on October 19-20, 2006 at the University of Santo Tomas Central Library in Manila
     
  • PSBMB/ UST Special Lecture in honor of the late Dr. Gloria de Castro-Bernas was held on October 18, 2006. Professor Takashi Okamoto will speak on "Transcriptional Regulation as a Novel Therapeutic Strategy for Cancer, Leukemia, AIDS and Rheumatoid Arthritis". Time: 9:30-11:00. Venue: CME Auditorium, St. Martin de Porres Bldg, University of Santo Tomas, Manila.

    The 2nd RevUp was part of the centennial celebration activities of the College of Medicine of UP Manila.
