Young Scientists Forum Session:

  1. There are six contenders. The order of presentation will be determined through drawing of lots.
  2. Each presentor will be given a maximum of 15 minutes to present. Two bell rings will be made to alert the presentor - the first after 10 minutes and the last after 13 minutes.
  3. Five minutes is alloted for Q&A after each presentation. Priority will be given to the judges.
  4. In case there are still questions after 5 minutes, two additional questions may be accommodated.

Poster Guidelines:

  1. Size of posters: Maximum of 90 cm wide by 120 cm tall
  2. Posting materials, e.g. tacks or tape: to be provided by the Secretariat.
  3. Posting schedule:
    1. Set-up (ingress): Thursday, November 29, 7 am to 8:00 am (the first day of the convention)
    2. Take-down (egress): Friday, November 30, 5:30 pm onwards (the second day of the convention)
    3. See the program for details of the convention schedule, including poster sessions.

    1. title
    2. authors (with presentor's name underlined)
    3. affiliations with addresses (referenced to authors)
    4. abstract
    5. introduction (background, significance, and objectives)

    11. graphs and figures with informative captions
  5. Font size: The text must be readable at a distance of one (1) meter
  6. Presentor's presence: The presentor should stand beside the poster during poster viewing sessions to answer the questions of viewers and judges
  7. Location codes of posters: See the list of accepted posters. The list will also be posted at the convention site during ingress.
