PUBLICATION ETHICS
The Editors, Editorial Board, and the Authors are all required to comply and execute the expected ethical behavior that PJBMB has formulated to guarantee a highly-organized system. Conflicts of interests should be discussed with all parties involved.
- For Editors
- Holds responsibility in making the final call for publication decisions for manuscripts submitted.
- Should provide the readers' and authors' needs.
- Manuscript evaluation should be done only for their intellectual content.
- Should always aim to improve PJBMB.
- Should maintain academic integrity.
- Confidentiality of manuscripts submitted should be kept between him and the author/s.
- For Editorial Board/Reviewers
- All information regarding the submitted manuscript they're reviewing should be kept confidential.
- Should inform the Editors the reason as to why a publication of a certain manuscript should be rejected or revised.
- Manuscript evaluation should be done only for their intellectual content.
- Manuscript evaluation should be based on originality, importance, and its contribution to PJBMB.
- For Authors
- Plagiarized, duplicated, or fabricated publications are not allowed.
- Submitted manuscripts should be originally your own.
- Submitted manuscripts should not be previously published or submitted in other journals for publication.
- Works or words of other authors in their publications should be properly identified, quoted, and/or cited.
- When there is a correction in your manuscript, notify the Editorial team for it to be corrected right away.
- Plagiarized, duplicated, or fabricated publications are not allowed.
