Written by Christiane Helene Comique Young Scientists' Forum Winners 2016 The Young Scientists' Forum was established in 1995 as a competition for undergraduate research projects. This is to encourage students to actively pursue their research interests in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology. On its 21st year, a wise and talented set of young scientists are now included in the hall of fame. The announcement of winners happened during the closing ceremonies of the 25th FAOBMB International Conference and 43rd PSBMB Annual Convention.

Written by Christiane Helene Comique signing of the memorandum of agreement between PSBMB and IMB Academia Sinica The Philippine Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (PSBMB) and the Institute of Molecular Biology (IMB) of Academia Sinica are now officially in a harmonious relationship to create mutual development of programs for students, faculty members, and other members of PSBMB, after they signed a memorandum of agreement on Tuesday morning, December 6, 2016 at the PICC during the 2nd day of the PSBMB 2016 Convention.
